Diversity Award

This award encourages businesses to engage in diversity in the workplace. With this award, the LACC wants to reward the creation of a workplace that respects and includes differences - one that recognizes the unique contributions that individuals with many types of differences can make, and creating a work environment that maximizes the potential of all employees.

Diversity Award Parameters

The organization will be judged on the following:
• Percentage of workforce that is ethnic
• Percentage of management that is diverse
• Provide a Description of the Business
• Diversity in its 1st Tier and 2nd Tier Suppliers – Supplier Diversity Programs encourage the use of previously underutilized minority-owned vendors as suppliers; 1st Tier are the ones the organization contracts directly with and 2nd Tier are the subcontractors to the 1st Tier Suppliers
